ABOUT TRACKED BOOM LIFTS

Tracked boom lifts are among the most functional types of self-propelled lifting equipment.

Lifts are mounted on a track system, which distributes the weight, reducing pressure on the surface. Folding outriggers can be extended in a matter of moments, providing added sustainability and stability. They make these lifts look like huge spiders, which is why they are also often called Spider Lifts. The outriggers stabilise the machine and allow you to reach great heights safely.

It is worth noting that the high lifting height is the main advantage of these lifts. With relatively compact dimensions, they can reach 20-30 metres! Small dimensions make it possible to comfortably transport lifts and use them in confined spaces.

Tracked boom lifts meet all modern safety requirements and have excellent manoeuvrability and cross-country ability. Combined with the lifting height and simple operation, renting a lift is an excellent solution for carrying out work at height.

Application of tracked boom lifts

Spider lifts can be used with equal success both outdoors and indoors. Good cross-country ability allows the lift to feel confident on rough terrain in the open air. At the same time, their compact dimensions and non-staining rubberised tracks make them ideal for indoor use. Their compactness allows them to work in buildings with narrow access. The load on the working surface of spider lifts is minimal, so they will not damage the floor surface, unlike wheeled lifts, and will not leave marks. They can be used on marble, parquet or poured floors.

Tracked spider lifts are ideal for use in areas such as shopping centres, shops, stadiums, cinemas and any premises with high ceilings.

Design and features

The lifting mechanism of a tracked spider lift is similar to conventional boom lifts – the boom, consisting of sections, extends and rotates as specified by the machine operator.

The maximum working height can reach 30 metres (HINOWA 33.17), with a load capacity of 230 kg. This is enough to lift two workers with a full set of necessary tools. You can hire tracked boom lifts with electric or dual (electric + diesel) power.
Elavation’s fleet is represented by lifts from the manufacturer Hinowa, which has been developing tracked lifting machines since 1987 and has become a world leader in the production of this equipment.
